Every story has a start and this is ours:  While working with a sunglass startup in its early years, we realized that despite the company’s massive success and growing popularity, some of us within didn’t believe in their strategy, messaging, but most importantly, the level of product quality. We knew it could be done better, and customers deserved better for their hard-earned money. 

So, we went on a journey to find better; better lenses, better designs, and more durable materials.   We wanted to create the sunglasses we could be proud to produce at a vaule most of you could appreciate.   Thus, after months of numerous branding and product trials (and maybe a few setbacks), Lowell & Co was born out of the fun we shared in Malibu.

Our belief as a brand is to offer a high quality stylish product at a ridiculous value to our fans.  Rather than worrying about breaking, scratching, or losing the shades you spent hundreds on while you’re out enjoying life, Lowell wants you to save more of that money for the things you love to do—your fun.  Our fans are those who enrich their lives with activities, people, styles, and attitudes that reflect their sense of fun.  This philosophy won't be the brand for everyone, after all some folks like paying $250 for shades, but we want to resonate with those that understand our independent spirit and quest to create value. 

Time will tell if we will be able to reform or revolutionize the sunglass industry dominated by a few, but in the meantime, we will do our part to improve and innovate upon our quality workmanship as we grow in popularity for the benefit of our fun-loving fans.  And we promise, we intend to have some fun along the way too!
